We were incredible lucky to be invited to experience Copley Cottage after it's recent refurbishment. The owners, Nicky and Chris, kindly invited us to stay for a few nights so we could tell our readers all about it, and long story short, we loved it!
Why Choose Copley Cottage?
Copley cottage is over 140 years old. The cottage is located above a water well which stems from the river Gaunless, the most northerly Viking named river.
We headed into the kitchen/diner and what can I say, it is the perfect mix of modern convenience and rustic charm. The gorgeous kitchen units and modern appliances blend effortlessly with the character of the space, it really complements the original beams.
There are always things that are on your wishlist when you book a dog friendly cottage, washing machine, tumbler dryer and spare bowls are mine and Copley cottage has all three!
A generous welcome pack was left for me and the dogs with various luxuries, I was heartened to see a personalised Copley Cottage biscuit for the dogs, and very generously a bottle of Prosecco!
The cottage really is one of those places that both humans and dogs feel relaxed in straight away, it had a wonderful ambiance.
